Ferritic Stainless Steel Optical Breadboards
Ferritic stainless steel optical breadboards are produced from 416 series stainless steel. Ferritic stainless steel optical breadboards have M6 holes on 25mm centers for fixing optical components and are connected to optical breadboards and tables with countersunk M6 mounting holes 25mm inward at the corners. 416 series stainless steels are magnetic due to the alloy’s broad ferrite composition. Ferritic stainless steel optical breadboards provide a rigid, vacuum compatible and magnetic surface.
