By coating surfaces with thin films within the scope of thin film technology, the structural, electrical, magnetic, mechanical, and optical properties of materials can be systematically improved and controlled, allowing for the acquisition of new functionalities. Surfaces functionalized with thin films developed from the nano to micro scale play a key role in the development of various systems such as optical windows, sensors, detectors, solar cells, heat blankets, low-emissivity glass, as well as optics, electro-optics systems like lenses, holograms, batteries, and light filters.
