Anti-Reflective Coatings
Anti-reflective coatings (ARC) reduce reflection losses from the active surface of the optical element. These coatings are designed to increase the transmission of light through the surface by minimizing the amount of reflected light.
Types of ARC include single wavelength or broadband (multi-wavelength) applications:
- UV-VIS-NIR ARC
- IR (NIR/SWIR/MIR) ARC
- Dual bant (3-5; 8-14 um) ARC
Anti-Reflective Coatings (UV), Anti-Reflection (AR) coatings for the UV spectral range (290nm – 450nm)
Anti-Reflection Coatings (VIS + NIR), Anti-Reflection (AR) coatings for the spectral range of VIS (450nm – 700nm) and NIR (700 -1100nm)
Anti-Reflection Coatings (SWIR + MWIR), Anti-Reflection (AR) coatings for the IR spectral range (SWIR and MWIR), and IR (infrared) anti-reflective (AR) coatings
