Development and Prototype Production of Opto-Mechanical Light Modulator
Our project supported by KOSGEB: Development and Prototype Production of Opto-Mechanical Light Modulator
Light modulators are devices used to modify and control light beams in a regular or irregular manner. Light modulators can perform various functions in scientific research and technological applications, and one of the prominent applications is the control of radiation incident on the detector in uncooled thermal cameras. Within the project, opto-mechanical devices are being developed to enable the periodic modulation of light required in uncooled thermal detectors and the controlled exposure of the detector to Köhler illumination in the 8-12 µm range.
